The privacy of our website users is of utmost importance to us. Below, you will find information about personal data collected when you visit our website.
We don’t sell or transfer these pieces of information to other entities.
Who is the data controller?
The data controller is Teatr Małego Widza Agnieszka Czekierda ul. Chełmska 50/11, 00-725 Warszawa, with its registered office at the following address: ul. Jezuicka 4, Warszawa. The data controller manages your personal data and decides how they’re going to be processed and stored.
What is the purpose and legal basis for processing your personal data?
Your personal data are processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. The data will be used solely to process the purchase of tickets for shows at Teatr Małego Widza (and to process your potential complaint or return).
We process the following personal data:
- name and surname (obligatory)
- e-mail address (obligatory)
- address and account number (pursuant to electronic payment regulations of PayU S.A.)
- phone number (optional, we only use it to contact you in case of exceptional situations, such as show cancellations)
- invoice data (optional, only if you want to get a VAT purchase invoice when you buy tickets)
Your data can also be used for marketing purposes (newsletter) if you gave your consent for it when you were buying tickets or if you voluntarily subscribed to our mailing list.
All the above data are necessary for us to perform the agreement which you conclude with us when you buy tickets for our shows.
When you buy a ticket, you agree to be photographed and filmed by persons authorized by the theatre and agree for your image as a spectator to be used in the theatre’s promotional materials.
Your data will be stored to perform the ticket sales agreement and for marketing purposes after the agreement expires, but your data will not be stored for longer than 5 years since you provided them. Personal data provided voluntarily as you subscribe to our mailing list will be stored for an indefinite period of time until you ask us to remove them from the list.
Who has access to your data and who processes them?
Your data can be accessed by:
- the data controller and persons authorized by the data controller, e.g. the employees of the Spectator Service Department, who sign a personal data processing agreement.
Additionally:
- accounting office (a separate company, personal data processing agreement)
- mailing systems (FreshMail, personal data processing agreement)
- hosting company (Home.pl, personal data processing agreement)
What are your rights?
You have the right to rectify or erase your personal data at any time if you believe that they are erroneous or used contrary to their purpose. You also have the right to limit the processing of your data, e.g. by unsubscribing from our newsletter.

All disputes and notifices concerning improper use of personal data are processed by Inspector General for Personal Data Protection (address: Generalny Inspektor Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa). You can contact the Inspector if any dispute arises.
We guarantee that your personal data will not be used for purposes other than those listed above, they will not be at risk of being disclosed to third parties (which don’t take part in the processing of your order) and will not be used in a way which could result in any damage or legal consequences.
We guarantee that your personal data will be properly secured and protected against any risk of being lost or obtained by unauthorized persons.
Log files
Like most websites, we collect and use data from log files. Information from log files contains your IP number, the network name of your computer (host), your Internet provider (e.g. TP SA or Dialog), the browser you’re using (e.g. Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox), the time you spend on a webpage and the webpages you open while using our website.
